Flight of the Hippogriff is a family-friendly roller coaster located in Universal's Islands of Adventure Theme Park. The ride begins with guests walking along a winding path towards Hagrid's hut, where they may encounter sounds of Fang, Hagrid's loyal dog. Once on board, guests receive instructions from Hagrid on how to properly approach a Hippogriff, a creature that is part eagle and part horse. The coaster features gentle twists and turns, spiraling and diving around a pumpkin patch and offering a close view of Hagrid's hut. The experience combines light thrills and themed elements, making it suitable for younger riders and families.
