Cobra's Curse at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a unique steel roller coaster that offers an unpredictable ride experience. The attraction features a striking 30,000-pound serpent motif, including a towering 70-foot vertical lift that brings riders face-to-face with the snake's large eyes and impressive fangs. Spanning 2,100 feet, the ride combines high-speed movements, reaching up to 40 mph, and incorporates elements of spinning, with trains that can rotate in multiple directions based on the weight distribution of the riders. This adds an element of variability, ensuring that no two rides are the same. The ride lasts about three and a half minutes and includes both forward and backward motion, enhancing the thrill. The queue area is air-conditioned and includes an immersive theme alongside a state-of-the-art snake exhibit, enhancing the overall experience before riders board the coaster.
